Controls Programming and Documentation

Closed loop control system receives inputs from the joystick and three rotary position sensors mounted on the robotic arms, sending signals to deliver a steady, predictable movement to the boom arm and nozzle. Closed loop engine speed is repeatable within 20 rpm and achieved with existing equipment.

Our Client engaged SpecSys, Inc. to redesign the operator interface / control of the product placement arm for their pot hole patching machine. SpecSys, Inc. provided Design Engineering, Controls & Code Development, Prototype and Testing.

Our Client has since confirmed that what used to take days to train an operator to efficiently run the machine, now has operators confidently filling pot holes within minutes during product demo’s.
