Engineering efforts included the integration of front and rear bogie system on the International truck, platform design, loading and unloading system of the grinding unit, integration of under frame components including gearbox and drive shafts and complete design of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Also as part of this effort was the completion of the operation, service, parts and maintenance manual.

This effort was completed using SolidWorks CAD software.

Prototype Manufacturing

Fabrication, machining, weld, paint, and assembly departments completed all aspects of the build along with testing of unit on the rail track.
